Hello everyone; Does anybody know the complete history of the company names and years in business of everyone leading up to the current Ma/Com?

Thanks in advance

Here is my list of the company names in chronological order:

GE
GE Ericsson
Ericsson
ComNet Ericsson
M/A-COM

I do not have the years in business per name, but I think the order is correct......

Now here's a good question... what products were released under each name?

I've found a radio that says "GE Ericsson" but I can't find pictures of it anywhere that match the radio.

Between ComNet Ericsson and M/A-Com there was a very brief (only a few months I think) time when it was Com-Net Critical Radio.

I agree with the CommNet name being very brief. In Fact I think, if I dig deep enough, I can find a note pad with that name on it, that was given to attendees to the National meeting they had at IWCE, and telling us about all the great things they were going to do, even as the company was being sold to MA/Com

I stand corrected... I also recall the "Com-Net Critical Radio" name that went away as fast as it came along.
We were joking with the local affiliated shop that they should use velcro patches as they couldn't keep up with
shirts that had the right name on them......

Last I heard, they have dropped the M/A-COM name and are now just known as Image

Now we can add Harris to the list of owners. They just agreed to buy Ma/Com wireless from Tyco.
