M-RK Logic Swap

Post by ten9ty6 »

can I take a logic board out of a UHF M-RK (SW), change the "band resistor" to the 136-160 band split and pair that logic board with a 136-160(sw) RF deck?

The band sense resistor is on the RF board, not the logic board. Swap out the boards and just go into radio maintenance and load the tracking data for the correct bandsplit. Most versions of Programmer/radio maintenance come with some default tracking data files if you don't have the one that came with your VHF. Look in the help menu for maintenance and it will help you find the one you need.
