Anybody know if you can program a PMH4SA (150-174) GE MDX into the 2 meter ham band? I'm using EDACS4 ProGrammer.
Thanks!

I do not know of any way whatsoever to get that "H" split radio to go there.
The MDX cannot be used with SC4 files but you might be able to find a way to get there
using EDACS3 DOS software using SC files.
The Yahoo Group "GE" might be more helpful for an answer to this...

Re: 150-174 MDX into ham band?
Thanks Ken.
I'm selling all my MDX's and "moving up" to Orions now. I can't wait to try and re-learn a whole new line of radios. It's amazing how much is different. I've been using MDX's for almost 10 years...
Thanks for your help!

I'm almost positive that I was able to simply change the split in the settings and it just
worked immediately as the other split. Now mind you, I only tried one 2m freq (don't
remember which one, it was 2 years ago) and I never took it any further in any way (tuning,
etc.) The radio belonged to a firefighter and he was more concerned with using it for
that than if it also did the ham band so I put it back. If I recall correctly, the low split
tops out at 150, right? That would have made it far less useful to him than a high split.
