Programming cable for Kenwood TM-271A Radio P/n PG-5D

Post by David Odell »

Does anyone have the schmatic for the above listed cable or a resource to get the specs on how to build one. Cost for factory cable is $79.00. Most of us can build anything if we put our mind to it.

Thanks

Hello
Its more then getting the wires to the correst pins
I open my cable up to see way they used a 25 pin connnector
I was going to change it over to a 9 pin one
There is one big IC inside and 2 smaller chips
If you want I can draw out the wires to pins but on the chips
not sure where you would go to find them
