2 ch. TK-350?

Post by KF4SQB »

OK, here's the deal. I have a couple of TK-350G HTs. As I received them, they have two channels, and the display shows no 'names', just '1' and '2', respectively. Now, here's the real kicker. When I try to read them with my copy of KPG-23D, which is version 1.00, it says 'model not supported'. If I look in the 'model' menu of the software, it doesn't even show a 2 ch., only 32 or 160. I can 'force' a 32 channel codeplug into them, and they will read and act just like any other 32 channel, but I can't read the original 2 ch. codeplug. What gives? Some strange version of the radio? Different version of software needed?

They only made a 32/160 channel tk350,Your 2 channel was probably programmed with newer software version..

Thanks, Mod. Just out of curiousity, what's the latest revision of KPG-23D?
