Duplex a TK-x30?

Post by Boomer740 »

Has anyone ever tried to duplex a TK-x30 series mobile radio for use as a repeater? I'm considering trying it on a TK-830, but was wondering if anyone on the board had any experience / advice.

DUPLEXING AN X30

The X30 series can not be duplexed since they only have one VCO. You will need 2 radios (one transmit, one receive) to create a repeater.

Just about all of the stuff you need is available on the molex connector on the rear of the radio. I can't remember if COS is available on the Molex connector or not.
