TK730 dual head audio problem

Greetings! I have a TK730 dual head radio-audio to head 1 works fine; head 2 has no audio. I switched heads 1 and 2 around, and have audio on the previously "dead" head, which leads me to believe the problem is in the KRK3-DH. Anybody had this problem or possibly steer me in the right direction on a fix? No luck finding one on ebay or any other sight, and Kenwood no longer makes parts for the older 30 series. I thought about a KRK-6DH, the dual head control for the newer 90 series. What do you think?
