How do I add a KRK-2 To a TK-730?

Post by kwradioguy »

I have searched here and can't easliy find the data. So please excuse me if this question has been asked previously. I have a TK-730 with the KCH-4 Full Alpha head. It is only a 32 channel radio. I wish to remote the head. I have a KRK_2 coming.

Do I have to pull any chips in the head? In the radio? Jumpers that have to be changed on either? Or do I simply make the connections between the radio/head and the KRK-2? Are they obvious? I do not have any service info on this mod.

Thanks in advance

It is plug and play and easy to set up. You DO need to short W106 on the control unit(under the small cover) to increase audio through the remote cable.

N5TBU,

Thanks for the reply. When you say "on the control unit", do you mean the KCH-4 head? Is W106 on the head itself? OR on the KRK-2 interface to the head?

Thanks Again
