W08-0598 Charging NiMH

I just bought a couple of used TK2100's with the W08-0598 drop-in chargers. I want to buy some after-market NiMH batteries for them. Does anyone know whether the W08-0598 chargers will charge the NiMH batteries properly?

It'll charge NiMH but it won't thermal sense. If you leave the batteries on it for too long you could damage the batteries. From my experiences with other NiCD-only charges charging NiMH packs, it may only charge a NiMH to about 80%.

80% of the capacity of an NiMH pack is still better than the capacity of the NiCad packs that are available for it. I was suspecting that I might not get a full charge. Thanks for your reply. I have an NiMH pack in the charger right now, so we'll see how it goes.
