What is the difference between a TK-760 and a TK-780, other than the 780 can do trunking?

THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENCES IN THESE RADIOS HERE ARE ARE JUST A FEW I WILL LIST THE 780 OFFERS FLEET SYN. AND MSK PTT CALLER ID AND THIS RADIO ALSO HAS 250ch IN CONVENTIONAL MODE AND UP TO 600 IN TRUNKING ALL DEPENDS HOW IT IS SET UP IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A MORE SIMPLE RADIO THEN THE 760 WILL BE THE ONE YOU WANT THERE ARE TO DIFFERENT VER. OF THE 760 YOU CAN GET JUST THE 760 WHICH THE DO NOT OFFER ANYMORE SO IT WOULD HAVE TO BE USED WHICH IS JUST A 32ch OR THE 760G WHICH IS 128ch 30WATT OR THE 76GH WHICH IS 128ch 60WATT THE 780 IS ALSO A 60WATT THE 60 SERIES RADIOS ALSO OFFER 2-TONE PAGING FOR LIKE FIRE ,EMS, TWO-TONE PAGING WERE AS THE 80 SERIES DOES NOT BUT IT OFFERS FLEET SYN PAGING WHICH IS AN MSK FORMAT HOPE THIS HELPS CHRIS

Just trying to help, the 760G is a 25 watt and the 760GH is a 45 watt. But, Kenwoods radios are well known to do more, and sometimes much more power than what they are rated at! See ya!

Too much rf power on a mobile can be costly.
Most mobiles are rated for 20% duty cycle.
So if you push the power TOO LONG
there goes the RF amp.
