Type 1 TK-890 on HAM. Who can modify for me?

Post by Elighting »

I have a TK-890 type 1(450-470) and it will not go below 444 without unlocking. I know there is a way to get this to not unlock below that, but I am not talented enough to retune it. Has anyone here done this before and if so, what would someone charge to retune mine? I would prefer someone with a service monitor and all.I was looking at selling this, but I might be better off with just retuning it if it doesn't cost a whole lot.

All you really need is a DC volt meter for equipment.

Ok, then what do I do? That's thing, I don't know what to do to retune to get the VCO to lock.
