TK-860 as Link Radio?

Post by kwradioguy »

I wish to use a TK-860K (not G) as a link radio. Can someone tell me will the KCT-19 fit this radio? IF not, are the following easily accesible?

COS
TX Audio
DET RX audio
PTT(Assume grab at MIC)

Is there a PL decode signal to tell me when there is a proper PL match from the decoder?

Any help is very appreciated.

Thank You

you should be able to do this. yes you will need the KCT 19 or us the RJ11? on the front of the radio. A friend of mine and myself use a couple of 762's as APRS radios which we interfaced using KCT 19's they work great. However depending on the duty cycle is I would set the out put a 5 watts.
