How to mod 5300 for 136 to 174 MHz

Would like information to modify EFJ 5300 to wid split 136 to 174 MHz.

The radio already does 136-174 MHz. Unless you have a REALLY old one that started at around 145 or so (as I recall).

Mine is one of the older models 145 to 174 MHz. Would appreciate any help in getting it moded to 136 to 174 MHz.
