Hi,
I KNOW that the factory has an antenna for the M-PA ham split, and I have 4 or 5 VHF antennas (Not sure of exact ones I have) The question is this
If I want to get a longer "gain" duckie, or even a stub duckie for "close" work, does anyone make an antenna tuned for the ham bands for the MPA, or do I have to shell out the $52 for the BNC adaptor?

Ham Band Antennas for the MPA
Antenex has one for VHF that has a center frequency of 140 mhz. It's designed for 136-144. That's the 6" helical. They don't list a stubby VHF for the ham range - theirs is centered at 156.
If you don't have one, I have a factory 136-150.8 antenna. The bottom's a little bent... Never mind, I just cracked it while looking at it...
Hope that helps. Antenex resells Centurion antennas (last I heard, I think they still do), so you can also check with Centurion.
