Ericsson GE MGP 300 (Lowband) programming 35-42mhz

Hello everyone!
I have an Ericsson GE MGP 300 (lowband) radio. Can anyone exlplain how to program this radio. I am not very technical, so please explain lightly. the only thing I can find is: http://www.hallelectronics.com/lbi/39008.pdf

Please help out an x Infantry Sgt. that's not so up on technology. Please explain all software and hardware needed.

Your best bet is to go over to Yahoos 'GE' groups or Yahoos 'Orion' radio group and look for Mark, KB4CVN, tell him what you want to do. He is the expert on the Maxon radios.
