What does FleetSync sound like?

Post by hsfdchief200 »

Does anybody have or can get a sound bite of Kenwood's FleetSync signalling?

I know Motorola's MDC1200 has a chirping sound when PTT is pressed. Does Kenwood also?

That's FleetSync?

There's a local LTR system here that uses FleetSync that sounds NOTHING like that. If someone can host a small WAV file, I'll post a sample of what they use here.

Hmm, that could be it.

The version they use here sounds VERY similar to MDC1200.

You hear a short databurst, then right after it, some tones that sound MODAT-like.
