Vertex VX-150 PC programming problem

Computer reads radio no problem. But when I go to send the data back, nothing happens. And the radio shows "C- Error" on its display.

This radio is brand new with the proper software. The computer I'm using is a 300 MHZ. But I'm pretty much ruling out the PC as the problem since I'm able to read the radio with no problem.

I've also followed the programming directions that came with the disc. (Ex. turn on radio while holding down the "lamp" button and "PTT", etc).

Any help would be appreciated.

Found out what the problem was in case any one is interested.

RT systems offers a software update. (patch) On their web site.
The downloading took about 30 seconds. No my computer reads and writes the radio no problem.
