I know this may sound stupid to some you radio folks, but I have a SM4150 and a SMP4000 and would like to program the radio, but I cannot figure out how to open the 4150's case to connect the cable or remove the EPROM. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Greg
SM-4150 Help
Be VERY careful when inserting the screwdriver blade. If you insert the blade too far, you will damage components on the circuit board. Use a wide blade and insert it only far enough to catch the edge of the frame to lift the cover.redbird wrote: Stick a wide blade screw driver in the slots above and below the mounting bracket holes and pry.

Ok, thanks folks. Got it open and was able to remove the EEPROM, I placed it in the SMP4000 and tried to read it but I received a ".zif socket err" message when I try to Load the EEPROM. Any Ideas?
