FTL-7011 PTT Drop outs

I have FTL-7011 D version UHF that is interfaced to a Link COmm RLC-4 controller. For some reason the radio will drop PTT from the controller even though the controller is still sending a LOW signal to the radio.

I am using PTT right of the RJ-45 connector.

Any Ideas as to why this is happeging?

Fix was to connect the PTT wire directly to the COntrol Board such that to bypass the 330 ohm resistor ( if any on board). Now the PTT is soild with no drop outs. Some control boards have version 1 and version 1-A with different board runs, so on some COntrol board 1-A some will have the 330 ohm resistor while others do not.
