pin 1-hook
2-mic ground
3-ign.
4-detector audio out
5-mic hi
6-external speaker output a
7-switched voltage 1 amp max
8-PTT
9-remote speaker output
10-horn alert out 1
11-horn alert out 2
12-external speaker output a
13-external speaker output b
14-external speaker output b
15-ground

13/14 is for PA speaker
9/12 jumper for internal speaker to work

I forgot to add that the 30 series uses a BTL audio amp.The speaker low is not to be connected to ground,or the amp will blow.

OK to hok up a TNC then can you confirm my thoughts on the pin outs.

TNC - tk-x30
PTT - 8 PTT
GND - 2 Mic Gound
Audio Out - 5 mic high
Audio in - 4 detector audio out

hummm ok just casue I'm new at this, is there anyway to get a line level audio in and out to by pass the mic curcuit so that I can maybe get 9600 bps working.
