VX-210 vs. VX-210A

What's the difference between these two radios? Are they programmable via the same software? All I can find find is that the 210A might be intrinsically safe as a standard, when the 210 has it as an option. Sorry if it seems like a dumb question. -Mike

From what i remember, and I sell them, the "A" version will do 2 tone decode. The non "a" version will not.

I think it will also scan. I mostly sell 180's, 900's and the 420's.

Good little compact radio. We got a lot of contractors using them, as well as personel in the "hospitality" fileld. Small, light weight, and loud!!
