Making a programming cable

Post by PantherRepeater300m »

Is it possible to make your own programming cable for the Panther 300m mobiles? I have a repeater that uses two of these radios and even though they are already programmed, it would be nice if I ever wanted to change the settings. Also, what program do I need to find on the internet to use with the homemade cable if its even possible? Thanks for any and all help. :D

Sounds like asking about software on here is a big no-no. Please ignore the software question and just reply to the first question asked, thanks.

Asking for software is a bad practice. Asking about what program
is needed is fine. Your just asking for information and not the
actual software. If someone has jumped your case about asking
what program is needed, they are acting out of place. Kind of a
fine line that some get over excited about.

Remember asking "about" is OK, but asking "for" is BAD.
