TK 380 power problem

Post by nyscan00 »

I have a tk-380 UHF portable and have tried 4 seperate batteries and am having the same problem....

Whenever I try to key up the radio it will let me talk for about 20 seconds max then it beeps and flashes low battery alert. All the batteries are new, fully charged and work fine, I have tested them in another 380 radio with no problems so I have narrowed the problem down to my one portable.

Any suggustions??? ANy help would ge GREAT :o
Thank you

are the contacts clean? check to see if the low battery level is set to high in the software.

I think that I remember the battery level warning is programmable.,if not, program it for no battery warning.
