With Fleetsync PTT ID type set to "OWN" the radio sounds 2 or 3 high pitched beeps, with PTT ID type set to "SEL" the radio sounds a slower low pitched 2 or 3 beeps. Thats all I have been able to get it to do. Now with DTMF PTT ID, different story, setting the First Digit Time to 400ms or whatever will sound a long beep, sounding like holding down a number key on a telephone. Not the same as Motorola, but close. Hope this helps.

Thats actully a good suggestion, and might just work for nmfire10's problem... The thought of Motorola MODAT or similar on a Kenwood makes me feel sick... :rof:

Excellent idea however I do need to retain the Fleetsync PTT-ID.

That is going to be a problem, I think...if memory serves me......you can't have both DTMF and Fleeysync, you need to choose 1.
