TK-730 mounting ?

Post by dirtslinger »

I have a 97 grand prix and was wondering where was a good place to mount the radio (tk-730H with remote head)? Just the main radio not the remote head. I was thinking under the seat or in the trunk. I also have another question I also need to mount a strobe light power supply. Can I run both of these off of one 10 guage wire or do I need to run two fused wires? Hope this don't seem dumb but I am new to having a radio like this.

Thanks Jeff

HI,
I would mount the radio in the trunk to give it some air space. ALSO, Feed the radio from it's own fuse, and the strobe from it's own. That way you won't get interference when the strobe is on... Hope this helps.
