Can I make a remote mount 7167 into a dashmount?

I have a remote mount 7167 that is missing parts (remote cable, etc) and I have a dash mount 7162, Can I take the boards from the 7162 and replace the parts needed in the 7167 to make a 100w dash mount? I have a local johnson dealer, but I am not sure he would do anything for me, so I need your help.

Please let me know, I could look at the possibility of getting needed parts for the remote mount, but I have these two and would only need one.
