Post by Adam »

Hey yall. I was referred here from batlabs.

I have been asked to sell a box of (800mhz) 8600 radios. I know nothing about them and google hasn't been of any help. I am hoping you guys will know your stuff and can help me out?

Thanks

The 8600 was the workhorse radio of the Johnson LTR customer for quite a few years. I would dare to say that it was one of the best radios built by EFJ.
Unfortunately, because the radio will only do repeater work, (NO Talk Around) the market for used gear is limited to say the least.
I have a storge room full of these radios and other 800 MHz LTR equipment. Repeaters with combiners, as well.
If you find a buyer for your gear and they want more, put them in touch with us.

Best of Luck
