Check the numbers on the plastic........

Well, the numbers on the plastic thing match up to the owner's manual chart so it's plugged in correctly. I still can't figure it out! :(

Must be a problem on the audio board.....there is a relay that switches the amp from inside speaker to outside/Pa speaker. Do youhear this relay click when you select pa? Also does the display indicate PA when you press the button?

Everything seemed right. The display screen says PUBLIC ADRS and the external speaker beeps when I press the PA button and the display screen shows the little SP indicator up top and the speaker beeps when I press the SP button, just nothing comes out the PA end.

As far as clicking relays, I haven't noticed anything. Should I have somebody press the PA button while I'm in the trunk listening for a relay click from the radio?

Sounds like it should be working right...you do realize he radio volume controls the PA speakers volume? Try turning it up?

Yes, the volume was always up.
