730/830 delete add, and other questions.

i have a 730/830 dual band single head setup. my first question is is about the delete add feature, i have it setup in the programming on the last button of the 4 at the bottom but it does not do anthing when i push it, it does not add or delete the channel from the scan list.
do i need to change something else in the programming to make it work? another question is about reading the radio, ive only been able to read it one time, when reading it goes all the way to 96 percent and then says error. retry or cancel. i can write to it fine and it works every time writing to it with no problems. any ideas about this?

and last question, does anyone have a programming manual?

You have to hold the add/delete button for about 5 seconds till it beeps

turns out after a quick search on here i figured out that you have to hold the scan button when you hit the A/D button, so i got that one figured out.

any ideas about the other questions? Thanks
