Desk mic problem
I have a KMC-9C desk mic with no mod. Is this a common problem and what is the cure?

I was able to obtain all the service info on the mic and connected it to a power supply and a scope and the mic seems OK. I am going to get the radio soon and try it on the radio. Scott said the desk mic would not work and he used a mobile mic and all was well. I need to check it all again myself. Thanks for the offer to help.
