I know it's an old thread, but I hate a question not answered....
No, expanding the capacity to 160 channels will not change the 16 ch per zone limit in the TK X30 series radios.

I know that I sent an E mail out to radio man but I would like to ask the same question to the site. I just wanted to know how to identify these kenwood 630h low banders. I have a alpha numeric version and an older one I believe. Also do I have to adjust the radios(6 meters) before programming them and does anyone know where I can get more info on these radios? Any help would be appreciated since this is the first time that Ive tried to program and adjust this type of radio. Darren N9SWN
