The Radio Information Board

Has anyone been successful at putting an 8600 series radio into the 900 Mhz hamband? Don't see too many any posts for E.F. Johnson Equipment.
I thought they had a descent product myself.

AH the 88XX series... I had an 8806 in my car for a while with Interconnect. I'll never forget they invalided my interconnect code - then I bypassed the validation circuitry in the radio it worked like a champ for a long time. Yeah I have a key laying around if you want just send me an email with your address and I'll mail you one. I have been tring to decompile the old Johnson RSS. Wouldn't happen to know of a decompiler for qbasic or if there is a copy of the 8600 series source code lay about?
