We have 18 new Kenwood TK-272G-1 Ht's for our Volunteer Fire Department. One of the guys punched a couple buttons and asked me what he did, and I have no idea!
He held down the monitor button and touched the left arrow key ( I think he was trying to set the squelch ). When he does this a dot appears in the lower right side of the display. We can't find that it does anything and can't find anything in our documentation that tells us what this indicates.
Doing again turns it off.
Anybody have a clue?
