OK, I purchased a Panther 600P portable on the used market. . .

My question: Does this radio support STE/RTB as outlined on the channel selection page under sub-audible tab?
I can toggle it here to yes for both fields and put valid PL tone in on TX and RX and save and file looks good on re-open.
Operation of the radio definately shows that the STE/RTB is not working. . .
Write to the radio and re-read for verification and shows NO under STE/RTB for the channel. . . .
Am I doing something wrong? any suggestions ideas?
