The Radio Information Board

A few days ago I had the battery pack off one of our IC-H16s, and when I slid the pack back on it sparked a little bit. Now the radio doesn't power up. What I'm wondering is whether there's a fuse or something like that inside, or is the radio pretty much screwed? It's not a big loss if it is, but if this is a simple repair it'll be worth it to keep it working.
