Hi all!!
I am sorta new to Kenwood radios so please bear with my ignorance!!
I am trying to reprogram our base station at our firehouse. It is a TKB-720 30 watt base. I have the KPG21D software and a KPG-4 cable. First off, is this the correct cable and software? Second is there a special thing that I have to do to get the base into programming mode like our TK-730s or our TK-250s?
Any info would be appreciated!

The TKB-720 requires a KPT-50 hand held programmer, or the KPT-20 programmer. The KPT-50 can operate by itself or with the PC software.
You can find the KPT-50 on ebay for ~200.00
