Hi everyone, I did a search and found a lot of topics pertaining to 730's series radio. But I couldn't find the exact answer I was looking for. I've read that the 730G is narrowband compliant but I'm unsure if the 730H is as well. If anyone could help me out that'd be great. Also If the H isn't N-band can it be upgraded?

There is a 730H my rescue department is looking to get rid of because we updated to Vertex's. No one is sure though of all the specs on the radio, it was a hand-me-down from AMR. Since narrowband is soon to be required of all the radios in my county, I don't want to purchase a non-compliant radio. Thanks in advance

If the model tag doesn't have the G on it, then it is not narrowband. It would say 730HG or just 730G (don't remember which, either way the G would be on there).

x30G series radios can be gold! They are kickbut strong as nails radio, inexpensive since their older, and they do narrowband.

Matt is correct, without a "G" in the model number it is wide band only.
The 730 and the 730G are 45 watt radios,the 730H and 730HG are 110 watt radios.

I appreciate the help. It is a bummer that this radio doesn't have a "G" in it.
