OK Bought the Icom V82 VHF version, purchased the software, modified the radio for out of band operation (Yea I know), proceeded to program the radio with no problems except, you cannot use split DTCS on this radio, thought I would just go in the monitor mode on rx only, guess what that doesn't work either. Emailed Icom & they said there was no way to make it just transmit DTCS & receive carrier squelch, I was very disappointed with this rig put it back in the box & going to sell & get a Vertex, just info for anyone thinking about buying one....73's Fred/W8WAR
