I have a 242-9653. What is the series name? Can I and how do you use the challenger interface box with this radio? What is the part number of the software? Is there anything else I need to know? Radio is also marked 242-9753.
The radio's model number is the last four digits ie 242-9653 it would be referred to as a 96XX model. I'm not sure that the Challenger interface box will work with that model... some of the later model Johnsons need a newer box and cable. I will have to research this...
