EHP 5140 programming cable
A friend brought me an EPH 5140 vhf and I thought no problem but yes problem,no keypad!!!! I disassimbled it and it has only a blank board where all others have keypad and display. I found someone who has an old program for BK but no cable. Does anyone have a cable pinout and does this require a rib like my Moto stuff. It appears that this is a DOS program can it be used through the dos window and do I need to use my old laptop for this??
SD70MAC out

Re: EHP 5140 programming cable
It WILL require a RIB. You can build a cable to program if you have the electronic knowledge to build one. You can find the schematic at http://www.repeater-builder.com/bendix- ... ed-rib.gif or http://www.repeater-builder.com/bendix- ... te-rib.gif. I built mine from there.
