Vertex Follow Me Scan

Can any one help me understand how the follow me scan priority feature works on the newer model Vertex mobiles and portables? Thanks for any assistance in advance.

The Vertex help software and I think it's worked fairly well.

Follow-Me Scan checks a programmed Priority Channel along with other channels in the scan list. It also checks the channel your radio is set to even if it is not in your scan list.

that sounds like selected channel to follow priority on Motorola radios, such as the MTS2000/XTS3000's if setup in CPS this makes whatever channel/mode your selector is sitting on the priority 1 member in the scan list (regardless if it is setup in the list manually).

Thanks for the replys, the link wouldn't work. I am familiar with the Moto way of selected channel being the priority if you set it that way in the software. Is that what the Follow me Priority Scan is trying to do? The manual for the VX7200 and the VXP920 series isnt very clear on how it operates. Thanks again
