Formula for VHF Ch1 Rx 167.9625 same maths for low band.
N= 167.9125 - 164.0 Over 0.0125 = 314
EG. N = required freq - Base freq overStep freq
Step freq =0.0125 for Hi & Low band
Base freq for Hi is164.0mHz
Base freq for Low is 63.5 mHz
It is 10 15 byears since I worked on one :o

Hi 500e ?

Thanks for the reply
But can i just say I have no idea what you mean :eeek: lol
This Radio has a diode matrix that has 48 diodes in a sqare
D0-D5 reading down one side and CH 1-8 along the bottom.
From what i can gather it all depends on witch diodes are connected or diss-connected that gives the desierd freq for channels 1-8??
Any help would be great
Thanks
Tom
