Hey guys I am wondering if $235.00 is a pretty good price on New VX 424 with std battery and rapid charger???? thanks
It doesn't sound like a bad price at all.
I'd upgrade the battery pack though. I'm guessing what you're calling the "standard" battery is the FNB-64? It's only 700 mAh (and NiCd...YUCK!).
You should be able to get a NiMH FNB-83 for only a minimal amount more.
It's 1400mAh and will work with the NiCd rapid charger.
There's always the Lithium Ion FNB-V67Li, (if you really want to spend some $$$). Unfortunately you'll need the charger specifically for that battery (spendy too).
