Hi All, Does anyone know the trick to get the display on the Vertex VX-3000 lowband to show alphanumerical insted only numerical. It shows the first channel as "001" and I would like it to have a name such as "simplex" but when I get to the "Tag" part of the software it skips over it . Its my first lowband VX-3000 that I have converted to 6 meters and it seems to work well except the VCO slugs are almost out of the coils and I dont know what mod to make them

If I am correct ALPHA is only in some version. If it skips over it you do not have the ALPHA version.
