Good battery for the 380 series

I have quite a few of them and I just hate KNB 17a Nicads they really do suck... If only Kenwood did an impres type battery for them... Anyone got suggestions on good aftermarket batts for the 380's? Nimh or Lithum?

We use Empire batteries for our TK-380's. They are NiMh @ 2000Mah. I just checked an online store and they were going for about $38.00.
We were using the Kenwood NiCad's and they began to suck, royally! We tried the Kenwood NiMh batteries and they were ok, except for the price. Now we have these and they work really well. Good Luck.
