MVS DCS Codes

Trying to enter 743 as a Digital PL and it changes it to like 312

Is there anyway to stop this. Maybe not entering it right.

Nah, you have it right. DCS (-)743 and (-)312 are functionally identical, so the software just defaults to whatever it uses as its basic code for that group.

Check this out: http://www.open.org/~blenderm/dcs.html. I have yet to find a better description and it also lists all of the codes and their equivalents at the bottom. Do a search on '743' and you'll see what I mean. :D
