90 series mobile cable

roughly how much is the price for the control cable for a 90 series mobile?


reason is there, is a gent on ebay selling tk-790 for 150 minus cable and power cord.

They do show up on EBAY regularly. Also the 30 series cables will work even though the molded ends ends are different. I bought one for a 90 series to use on my 30's and it works great. Peter.

On the Kenwood List price pages the 90 series control cables are listed as follows.

KCT-22M, 8 foot $70
KCT-22M2, 17 foot $80 (standard length, comes with remote mount radios unless otherwise specified)
KCT-22M3, 25 foot $90

You can also get these in special order lengths such as 50' and 100'. They then price it by the foot.

So something like a KCT-12A or KCT-12B would still work with the 90 series?

If you were really bored and could spec out the connectors, you could even make your own. As mentioned previously, 30 series cables will work too, but the weather seals won't mate up.
