I've got these two radios, the U10 and the U18, which I use on GMRS. Does anybody know what model of programmer is used to set these radios up?

Pete, have you tried their web site. I do not remember wat it is but a good serch engine will help. Look under Icom America. Earl

I think the Icoms in question use the EX 704 programmer. It is a small stand alone unit that is very time sonsuming to use.

Ken,
I found a place that had some of these new in the
box. I'm now in the process of reprogramming my
U-10 and U-18.

Hi Joeben,
I sold the radios and programmer about a year ago, so I
no longer have a copy of the procedure for programming
or cloning these radios.
