Upgrading Forum

Post by Alex » Mon May 21, 2007 4:28 pm

The forum may be down or sporadically available to the public over the next couple of days.

If you need to continue any "critical" communications, please make an attempt to find an alternate means of doing so.

I will be using this forum as the test upgrade "beta" before I update the batboard.

Thanks!

The forum software has been updated. I'm slowly working on fixing some of the interface stuff, and the styles.

If you have a problem, drop me a PM.

Alex,I prefer the old format. Maybe I am jus too old and set in my ways, but the older version was more functional.
Sometimes new and improved is not.

I agree...
(not that I have a lot of say in the matter...)

just playing here...

Click on "user control panel"

click on "board preferences"

look for "my board style"

click the drop down box and select "subsilver2"

this will return you to the traditional board style that you were used to on this site.
but will include the perks....

The neon green was tough to look at

I think you'll have to get some more smilies when you get a chance

I think it's neat you get to chose the board style you want to view the site in

edit: could you post a link to the "batboard" please?

I'll go in to the database and flip peoples profiles to use the other style. I figured when I changed the board default, it would default to the older more "reasonable" style.

I guess not.

With the new fancy sub silver thing - the main page is way too busy with all the forums.

I'm planning on links to bat board and stuff, but I need to get batboards upgrade/updates done this weekend.
