the 5570 is the SL version of the 5100 (NO-AES encryption). The part number you have is for 7/800 MHz although the 700MHz option may or may note be turned on.

Actually this is a part# for an UN-OPTIONED Acsend Portable Radio. The "023" Means it left the farm unoptioned.

When I saw the 023, it caught me by surprise. Johnson uses 023 numbers for assemblies. Finished products are 242 numbers. Sounds like this radio may have been a demo radio or something that 'escaped'. You may be right on the Ascend, which I believe is the Multi-Net version.

Thank you very much, IS!
Could you tell me where can find the detail information of the EFJ model number breaking code table just like Motorola??
As sometime I saw the radio model but don't know which band of it. I want to buy a radio of 5100 Model 3 in VHF or UHF, better have FPP. What will be the model number look like??

Here is part number breakdown from their service manual. The software options are little harder to do. (that would be the GC2) part in the part number you gave me. They don't really have a usefull chart for that (at least none that I have found)
